An occasional blog by Chris Greenway. Almost entirely about the use of radio for political influence in the second half of the 20th Century. Named after the British station in the 1982 Falklands War (and most posts before 2019 are about that station's operations).
I'm trying to post a little bit more often, with profiles of specific covert radio stations that were active during the Cold War.

The birth of BBC Monitoring
To mark the 83rd anniversary of the formation of the BBC Monitoring Service on 26 August 1939, I've revised and expanded my 2019 articleon the events leading up that date.
Excellent article Chris thank you. And please do write a similar one about the wartime years, I would be very interested in reading it.
