Radio Atlantico del Sur

An occasional blog by Chris Greenway. Almost entirely about the use of radio for political influence in the second half of the 20th Century. Named after the British station in the 1982 Falklands War (and most posts before 2019 are about that station's operations). I'm trying to post a little bit more often, with profiles of specific covert radio stations that were active during the Cold War.

About Me

Chris Greenway
I've been watching (and listening to) the world from BBC Monitoring since 1981. But all views on this blog are mine, except where clearly attributed to others. I've chosen not to name in this blog anyone who was intimately associated with Radio Atlantico del Sur unless their identity is already published or they have confirmed to me that they are happy to be named.
